Welcome to the Homeless Heritage website.

We are a team of homeless and non-homeless people using archaeology as an approach to contemporary homelessness. The project began organically in Stokes Croft, Bristol (UK) in late 2008 and has since become the subject of Rachael Kiddey’s PhD at the University of York, although we continue to work collaboratively as a team of equals.

Please enjoy the pages, papers, photographs and films on our website, sign up to our mailing list and get in touch if you have any comments or questions, particularly if you are homeless or have experienced homelessness.

Good luck!
